# Logging in

Upon opening EmotivBCI, you will be asked to log in via the EMOTIV Launcher. You can log in using your EmotivID or your Facebook account.

*Note: You need to be online the first time you login to EMOTIV Launcher so that the application can authenticate your credentials.*
