The EEG multi-electrode patch enables recording of frontal and temporal EEG simultaneously in a natural environment.

The patch has 5 segments (marked with numbers from 1-5), each segment is attached to the skin separately.

NOTE: This patch is also suitable for ECG recordings.

Step 1 - Attach the back-neck segment

  1. Peel off the protective layer marked with #1.

  2. Attach the GND electrodes on the back of the neck (C1-C2 vertebrae). Press it firmly against the skin.

  3. In the next steps, if there is a leftover area in the strips between patch parts you can fold it.

Step 2 - Attach the front ear electrode

  1. Peel off the protective layer marked with #2.

  2. Attach the temporal EEG electrode to the skin near the earlobe (the preauricular zone). Press it firmly against the skin. Repeat for the other side.

Step 3 - Attach the behind-ear segment

  1. Peel off the protective layer marked with #3, the peeling starts behind the ear.

  2. Move the hair behind your ear and attach the patch to the bony area behind the ear and the lower round electrode near the earlobe (the preauricular zone). Press it firmly against the skin. Repeat this step for the other side.

Step 4 - Attach the forehead segment

Step 5 - Removing the support layers

Using the dedicated wavy white tabs, remove the 3 sections of the transparent layer with one hand: from the back of the neck upwards, from the ear upwards and downwards on both sides. With your other hand, secure the attachment of the electrodes. Repeat for the other side.

Verify that the electrodes are connected: press the patch firmly on your skin using your hands and verify all electrodes and strips are well connected.

Step 6 - Attaching the device

Peel off the protective layer marked with #4.

Attach the EEG electrodes on the forehead. Press it firmly against the skin. Repeat this step for the other side.

Using the tab, peel off the white rectangle layer from the back neck.

Attach the connector of the patch to the device’s socket at the front of the device.

Attach the device to the patch on top of the exposed adhesive. Verify the LED light of the device is still green.
