# Introduction

X-trodes is a wearable wireless technology for research purposes to support dry, multi-site surface electrophysiology. X-trodes provides high-quality electroencephalography (EEG), and electrooculography (EOG) with unprecedented comfort.

It is built for academic and clinical researchers from various fields who use non-invasive electrophysiology as a research tool. It comprises a novel, printed, multi-electrode patch, and a high-end miniature wireless data acquisition unit (DAU).
