Updating from a Fixed version of Launcher

When you rollback to a previous version of Launcher (also known as a "fixed version") automatic updates will be disabled. This means that you will have to install the latest version manually. Here's how to do it.

Updating on Windows

1. Go to \Program Files\EmotivApps and open Emotiv Maintenance Tool.exe.

2. Select Remove all components and then click on Next.
3. Follow the instructions on the uninstall wizard.

4. Once uninstallation is complete, go to www.emotiv.com/my-account and login to your Emotiv account.

5. Click on the Downloads button on the side navigation bar of your Emotiv dashboard.
6. Click on the Download button for Windows.
7. Open the downloaded installer and follow the steps to complete the installation.

Updating on MacOS

1. Go to /Applications/EmotivApps and open Emotiv Maintenance Tool.

2. Select Remove all components and then click on Next.
3. Follow the instructions on the uninstall wizard.

4. Once uninstallation is complete, go to www.emotiv.com/my-account and login to your Emotiv account.

5. Click on the Downloads button on the side navigation bar of your Emotiv dashboard.
6. Click on the Download button for Mac.
7. Open the downloaded installer and follow the steps to complete the installation.
