To view the contact quality map and adjust individual sensors:

  1. Click on the icon.

  2. Select Configuration.

  3. Information about fitting your headset and achieving good contact quality will appear on your screen.

To collect accurate data you need good sensor contact and EEG signal quality. The contact quality display is a visual representation of the live contact quality from each individual headset sensor. Each sensor’s status is shown in real-time so that you can adjust the sensors to optimize contact quality.

The contact quality color codes are:

Green — good Orange — moderate Red — poor Black — very poor If you have trouble maintaining good contact quality, your headset’s user manual also contains information on fitting your headset and maintaining contact quality.
