Similar to your physical EMOTIV Brainwear, Virtual Brainwear has several states: these include created, powered on/off, connected/disconnected and configured. All of these states can be controlled via the dropdown list accessible by clicking the More icon on the virtual device panel in EMOTIV App.

Creating a new virtual device

Once logged in, click on Devices in EMOTIV App, then click on Add a Virtual Brainwear device —this will bring up a virtual device configuration dialogue. To create a new virtual device, select the device you would like to emulate (e.g. MN8) and click on the Create Brainwear® button in the virtual device configuration dialogue. When created, your virtual device will appear in the Virtual Devices list under the Devices tab.
