# Suggested activities

You may be able to elicit particular brain responses in the 3D visualization by doing certain mental tasks. Below are some activities that you can try.

Note: Even the most robust activity (eyes closed) will not always elicit a visible response in the visualisation due to differences between individuals, placement of the sensors and the gain settings of the different frequency bands. To maximize the potential of seeing an effect for these activities, try to set the gain of the frequency band of interest as close to the center of the dynamic range for the person wearing the headset as you can, so that you can see both increases and decreases in the signal. To focus your attention on the frequency band of interest, it is recommended at you turn all other frequency bands all the way down (slider all the way to the left).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://emotiv.gitbook.io/emotiv-brainviz/suggested_activities.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
