EPOC X is the 10th-anniversary edition of the award-winning EPOC headset. This Brainwear® device has been designed for scalable and contextual human brain research — providing access to professional-grade brain data with an improved and easy-to-use design. EPOC X features include:

EPOC X provides coverage of the frontal and prefrontal lobes; it also provides coverage of the temporal, parietal and occipital lobes. The image above shows the sensor locations for EPOC X using the international 10-20 system.
EPOC X has two electrode arms — each containing 9 locations (7 sensors + 2 references). Two sensor locations (M1 / M2) already have comfort pads fitted as they are the alternative reference positions (P3 / P4).
